During my visit to the Lahore Autism Center, I spent time with the children, engaging with them through art. As we drew together, an idea came to me: I wanted to share my own life story — my journey with Autism, the challenges I faced, and how I overcame them. I thought this story could be a source of encouragement, something I could read to these children to inspire them. That same day, I began writing my autobiography. Over the following days, I refined it, drew a cover for it and started planning of publishing it as a small book I could bring to share with the group.

Though I was unable to find a publisher in time to print the book physically, I wanted to make it easily accessible for neurodivergent children and their parents. To achieve this, I created a digital version available for free download on Amazon. This led to an idea for a website, where I could share the book and also aspects of my broader journey. The website ended up becoming a platform that captures who I am and what I’ve achieved.

In addition to the book, the website includes links to my animated YouTube series, Helium Boy, and provides donation links to organizations I care deeply about, such as the Charkha Welfare Foundation. It serves as a concise portrayal of my life’s story, offering insight into the impact I strive to make in the world. For the children at the Lahore Autism Center and others like them, this website will help them relate to me and understand how my story can inspire them to find their own paths.

Growing up is challenging for anyone, but growing up with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Type 1 Diabetes brings unique hurdles. Every step requires exponentially more effort, with anxiety and stress weighing heavily, often creating a sense of isolation from those around you. I wrote this story to share my personal journey - how I achieved so much despite these challenges - with the hope of illustrating the importance of perseverance and self-expression.

The purpose for writing the book was to share my experience growing up as a neurodivergent child to other children who are going through the same thing in order to inspire them to be greater versions of themselves. In just a short ten-minute read, I encapsulate my life’s story, recounting personal experiences from school, childhood, and my participation in extracurriculars. The book addresses my battles with sensitivity and social anxiety, along with my growth into a more confident and self-aware individual.
